Definition:

Self-actualization, a constructive process of functioning optimally and fulfilling one’s potentials, is perhaps the central concept and most influential model within humanistic psychology. The self-actualization theory and model have had important applications in the fields of counseling, education, and business and hold significant implications for basic conceptions of humankind and for society.
