Using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 with iMovie for Green Screen Editing on an iMac

You can import the Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 video to iMovie to tailor your video by adding music, images, captions and much more!

1. Create a new event --> Import media file – you can import other media (images and music) during this stage as well.

2. Once you have imported the file and it has downloaded, double click on it to highlight the whole sequence, then click on the plus symbol to add it to the timeline. You can also drag and drop the highlighted sequence onto the timeline.

3. Follow the same instructions for step two when adding music.

4. Located at the bottom of the left hand corner, there is a selection of tools you can use such as Transitions, Titles, Maps & Backgrounds, iTunes, Sound Effects, and GarageBand.

5. Once you are finished, click on the “Share” icon at the top of the screen and export the file.

6. You can share the file to Theater (iMovie Theater), Email, iTunes, YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, CNN iReport, and File. File is the best option because it shares the video as a QuickTime file and can be sent in an email, saved anywhere on the computer and saved on a USB.
