Digital Media @ Ferrum: Digital Audio Lab

The Digital Media Center includes 3D printing, green screen video, video editing, Adobe Creative Suite projects, and other innovations we develop.

Welcome to the Digital Audio Lab

The Digital Audio Lab is part of Stanley Library's Digital Media Services program. In the Digital Audio Lab, you can create recordings through the Cubase Artist 7 program, the Audacity program and use the Behringer Xenyx 802 mixer. This space does have studio foam, but please be mindful of the volume and those outside of the lab.

Stanley Library has an MXL 990/991 Recording Microphone Package which is available for a two-hour checkout. The Behringer Xenyx 802 mixer is available for 3-day checkout. You can stop by the service desk for any inquiries.

COVID Update

Stop by the circulation desk when you arrive for your appointment, and a staff member will unlock the door. Thank you!

We ask that you wipe down the keyboard and mouse when your appointment is complete. You can find the supplies in the space. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!

What should I use it for?

  • Create voice-overs for green screen videos.
  • Produce high-quality productions, scores, mastering, and more.
  • Promote your Ferrum club or student event.
  • Class projects, such as the Talk Abroad program.
  • Mix music, edit recordings for videos.
  • Create a podcast.
